Pankaj Goyal

Pankaj Goyal, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. Pankaj currently serves as the Vice President of Global Clinical Development at Vectura Fertin Pharma, a company focused on inhalational drug delivery and repurposing medicines for unmet medical needs.

In addition to their current role, Pankaj is also a member of the Virtual Advisory Board (VAB), where they serve in advisory and non-executive director roles for businesses worldwide.

Prior to joining Vectura Fertin Pharma, Pankaj worked at Novartis for 13 years in various leadership positions. These roles included Global Program Clinical Head, Global Medical Lead, Director of Global Medical Affairs, Associate Director of Global Medical Affairs, Global Head of Franchise Line Function, and Regional Manager for Strategic Sourcing.

Before joining Novartis, Pankaj worked at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as an Associate Director of Medical Affairs and Principal Physician in Clinical Development. Pankaj also gained experience at the pharmaceutical company Ranbaxy as a Senior Research Scientist and Clinical Research Physician.

Pankaj began their career as a Project Officer at Clinical Pharmacology, BYL Nair Hospital, TNMC Mumbai.

Throughout their career, Pankaj has demonstrated their expertise in clinical development, medical affairs, strategic sourcing, and leadership in global pharmaceutical companies.

Pankaj Goyal holds an MBA in International Business from EU Business School, which they obtained in the years 2016-2019. Pankaj also holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in Punjab, India, obtained between 1999 and 2002. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree in Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, earned from 1992 to 1997. Pankaj Goyal also holds a Certificate in Geriatric Medicine from the Indian Medical Association, though the details of when they obtained this certification are not available.
