Jason Norman

Jason Norman is a highly experienced professional in the field of microbiology and immunology, currently serving as Senior Director of Systems Biology at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc. since August 2015. Jason has advanced through various roles at the company, including Director and Associate Director of Systems Biology, and has made significant contributions as a Bioinformatics Lead by establishing workflows for metagenomic analysis. Prior to joining Vedanta, Jason held several research positions at Washington University in St. Louis and the University of Michigan, where expertise in microbiology was cultivated during postdoctoral work and as a graduate student. Jason's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School and a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University, complemented by teaching experience in microbiology at both undergraduate and dental education levels.
