Vinod Kumar

Vinod Kumar is an experienced mining professional currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer for Mining at Vedanta Sesa Goa since April 2024. Prior to this role, Vinod held the position of Head of Mining Services at Adani Enterprises Limited from January 2023 to April 2024. Vinod Kumar's extensive career at Hindustan Zinc spanned from May 1998 to January 2023, where significant roles included CEO of the Integrated Business Unit at the Zawar Group of Mines, SBU Director at the Rampura Agucha Cluster, and various leadership positions at the Rampura Agucha Mine, such as Unit Head and Mine Head. Vinod Kumar's educational background includes a Strategic Management Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a Master of Technology in Open Cast Mining from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), and a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from BIT Sindri.
