Ajay Goel

Ajay Goel currently serves as President & CFO at Vedanta Group since October 2023, following roles as Group CFO (Acting) and Group Deputy CFO from March 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included financial planning and analysis, controllership, and risk management for the $12 billion group. Prior to Vedanta, Ajay held the position of Executive Vice President Finance at Diageo from April 2016 to March 2021, overseeing statutory reporting and risk management for the largest alcoholic beverage company in India. With extensive experience at GE from July 2006 to March 2016, roles included CFO for Supply Chain in India Region and CFO for GE Lighting India, focusing on strategic planning and financial leadership. Earlier career highlights include finance roles at Coca-Cola, Nestle, and Usha Martin Ltd. Ajay holds a Chartered Accountant designation from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a Company Secretary qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Xavier's College.
