Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma currently serves as the CXO for Strategy, Ecosystem, and Corporate Affairs at Vedanta Group, focusing on India's first Semiconductor CMOS FAB and an Integrated Display FAB, managing an investment exceeding USD 20 billion. In addition to this role, Kapil holds several influential positions including Co-Chair of the ASSOCHAM Council on Electronics & Components, Member of the MeitY Committee on Nanotechnology, and various committees related to semiconductors and electronics across leading industry organizations. Previous experience includes co-founding Chashmah.com and iSociety5.0 Technologies, advising the Government of India on key policy initiatives, and leading marketing and business development at Aircel Limited and Virgin Mobile India. Kapil's educational background includes an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai and a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jamia Millia Islamia.
