The board of directors at Vedanta Resources has a long and varied history. The current executive chairman, Anil Agarwal, has been with the company since its inception in 2001. Prior to that, he was involved with a number of other companies in the mining and metals industry. He has a degree in metallurgical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.Agarwal is just one of many experienced and qualified individuals on the board. Other members have experience working in fields such as finance, accounting, and law. Many of them also have degrees from prestigious universities around the world. Together, they provide a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company.
