Avinash Kumar

Avinash Kumar is the Chief of Staff and COO at Vedantu. Avinash previously served as the General Manager of Content, Community, and Engagement at Gradeup from February 2017 to March 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the design of Gradeup's product for JEE and Medical Entrance exams, setting up a content schedule, ensuring timely delivery, measuring success, and redesigning strategy. Avinash also QC'd content and built a workflow to scale it. In addition, they devised further content partnerships and onboarded external mentors.

Under Kumar's leadership, the team achieved targets around engagements including active users, number of queries asked/answered, and number of questions solved. Avinash also set the parameters for quality and ensured strict adherence to those standards with scaled processes adapted to the requirements of different communities.

Avinash Kumar has a B Tech and M Tech (Dual Degree) in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Avinash also has a CBSE Class XII in Science PCMB from Army Public School, Dhaulakuan, New Delhi, and a CBSE in PCMB from Army Public School, Lucknow.
