Principal Research Engineer at Veeco

Bojan Mitrovic has a wealth of experience in the field of research and engineering, with a focus on Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) process equipment. Bojan has held various roles at Veeco, starting as a Modeling Engineer in 2003 and progressing to become a Principal Research Engineer in September 2021. Throughout their career at Veeco, Bojan has been involved in advanced systems and technology development for MOCVD equipment used in the production of compound semiconductor devices. Bojan has led activities related to equipment and process modeling, contributed to the development of flagship products, and provided technical support for process development. Prior to Veeco, Bojan worked as a Process Engineer at Oil Refinery Pancevo, where they monitored process conditions, built simulation models, and developed computer programs for operating regime planning. Bojan also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Oklahoma, where they investigated heat and mass transfer and served as a teaching assistant.

Bojan Mitrovic began their education journey at The University of Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia, from 1990 to 1995. Bojan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering during this period. Bojan then embarked on furthering their studies at The University of Oklahoma in 2000 and enrolled as a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering. Bojan Mitrovic pursued their PhD until 2003 while also completing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering at The University of Oklahoma from 2000 to 2002.
