Irinder Singh C. is a seasoned Sr Research Scientist at Veeco with a strong background in the capital equipment industry, having held the position since April 2014. Previously, Irinder served as a Senior Process Development Engineer at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, gaining valuable experience in high-volume semiconductor fabrication. Irinder completed a PhD in Physics/Material Science at the University of Texas at Dallas, where intensive research focused on hydrogen storage in aluminum hydrides aimed at advancing alternative energy sources, alongside teaching undergraduate physics to over 300 students. Experience also includes research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, developing boron-based semiconductors for neutron detection, and early work at Panjab University in engineering vacuum systems for the production of Fullerenes and Carbon Nanotubes.
