Jagannath started their career with ICICI Bank in 1994 and held various positions over the next 11 years. In 2005, they joined Naturol Bioenergy Ltd as Chief Financial Officer. Jagannath was responsible for fund raising, investment, capital budgeting, and strategy development.

In 2008, they joined Advaita Capital Private Limited as Senior Principal. Jagannath was responsible for investments in coal mining businesses and managing coal mine exploration in Indonesia.

In 2010, they joined Ventureast as Partner. Jagannath has been with Veeda CR since March 2019.

Jagannath Venkat Samavedam has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Indian Institute of Management in Lucknow, with a focus in finance and operations. Jagannath also holds a BE in mechanical engineering from Osmania University, as well as a licentiate degree in mechanical engineering from THS & Govt Polytechnic.
