Max van Kleek

Max Van Kleek is an accomplished academic and technology leader serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Veer Technologies Ltd since July 2023, focusing on AI-driven solutions for jobseekers. Currently a Research Fellow at the Oxford Martin School and a Governing Body and LGBTQ+ Fellow at Kellogg College, Max has held an Associate Professor and Senior Research Fellow position at the University of Oxford since August 2015, leading research on personal data ecosystems and privacy-enhancing technologies. Previously, experience includes roles as a Senior Research Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Southampton and participation in the SIGCHI Operations Committee. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
