Veev is leading the way in the transformation of the construction industry with an innovative approach to modular home construction. Veev’s prefabricated closed panel systems allow homes to be assembled efficiently on site while delivering both a more sustainable and higher quality final product than traditional construction. As a new subsidiary of Lennar, Veev is leveraging the strength and scale of its parent company while maintaining the speed and disruptive approach from its roots as a Silicon Valley based startup. Veev has developed a vertically integrated approach that involves multi-disciplinary collaboration across real estate, design, development, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.

The Role

As we continue to expand operations, Veev’s field construction division is seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Manager to manage and lead teams and successfully deliver our products on time, within budget and with the highest of quality. The Manufacturing Manager will ensure all the successful operations of the Field division and help strategize for the future.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Production: Direct and oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing team to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and mentor production personnel to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications through regular inspections and adherence to production procedures.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower, to optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation as required.
  • Communication: Collaborate with other departments such as engineering, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field preferred. Relevant work experience (3-5 years) in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment. Proficiency in automation software is desirable.
  • Leadership Abilities: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve production goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively and implement corrective actions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a culture of safety among the team.

Compensation

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on skills, education, experience, and location is $115,000 - $130,000 annually for Hayward, CA and surrounding areas.
