James Barone

James Barone is an accomplished leader in product strategy and business development with extensive experience in the life sciences sector. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Product Strategy LINK Key Accounts at Veeva Systems since August 2024, Barone previously held the position of AVP at Komodo Health from August 2021 to August 2024. Prior to that, Barone was VP of Sales and Business Development at BusinessOne Technologies, a subsidiary of Prescient Holdings Group, and played a key role in the company's transition after its sale. As CEO and Executive Chair at BusinessOne Technologies from 2004 to 2020, Barone managed a $10 million business and led a diverse team through strategic planning and business development. Early career roles include Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Cognet~X and Archi-Tech Systems, as well as service as a Captain in the US Army as a UH60 Blackhawk aviator. Barone holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College.
