Anton Batiaev

Anton Batiaev is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Vega since February 2023, Anton previously held the position of Head of Wealth & Trading Platform at Revolut from February 2020 to May 2023. Prior to that, Anton was the Software Engineering Team Lead for Risks & Derivatives at Deutsche Bank and held a Software Engineering Manager role at Otkritie, overseeing teams focused on market data and derivatives. Anton's technical expertise includes scaling risk engines and developing sophisticated financial platforms, with earlier roles at Haulmont as a Java Developer/DevOps and as a freelancer on Upwork. Anton's career began at ATOL Group as a C++/Qt Developer and included participation in the International Collegiate Programming Contest.
