Lauren Bovy

Lauren Bovy is currently serving as the Elementary Lead Teacher at Vega Collegiate Academy and as a TFA Corps Member with Teach For America since June 2023. Previously, Lauren was an Ignite Intern with Teach For America Ignite Fellowship, where duties included tutoring 4th grade math and supporting student learning. Prior to these educational roles, Lauren gained experience as an Academic Tutor with College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors, providing weekly tutoring in various subjects and preparing lesson materials. Additional professional experience includes bartending at Chasers 2.0 and Maple Bluff Country Club, as well as a shadow experience at Edina Public Schools, where observation of administrative protocols and event facilitation occurred. Lauren Bovy holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Health Equity from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a high school diploma from Edina Senior High School.
