Stefano Meli serves as HR Director at both Vega Hydraulic Cylinders and VEGA S.r.l. - Hydraulic Cylinders since May 2015 and May 2017, respectively. Additionally, Stefano holds the position of executive assistant to the CEO at Hydrosmart Intelligent Hydraulic Cylinders since January 2015, focusing on the design and construction of the company. Prior to these roles, Stefano founded Hidrospace in September 2007 and managed it until May 2014. Stefano's academic background includes a degree in Marketing and Sales Management from Marketing San Marino, completed in October 2006, as well as studies in Marketing Strategies at San Marino High School, concluded in 2006.

Vega Cylinders is an international manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders, specifically designed for the plastic injection molding and die-casting industry. Specialises in short or long-stroke compact cylinders as well as self-locking cylinders. Vega Cylinders sells to customers in over 37 countries, offering technical support as well. In 1988, Vega designed the first compact hydraulic cylinders. During the following years, it also started installing magnetic sensors on compact and tie-rod cylinders. Vega was known as the "Company of Intelligent Cylinders", that is, cylinders able to detect the piston position and to signal it to all connected PLCs. Since then, Vega improved its quality by means of strict testing and the ISO 9002-2005 Quality Certification. 2 sales points have been opened in China, one in Guangzhou and the other one in Shangai. That’s where assembling, selling and support procedures for the eastern countries take place. Vega strength lies in the constant calls and visits to our customers, in order to offer all the technical support they need right at their workplace. All hydraulic cylinders, before being shipped, is carefully tested in order to verify and certificate its high-quality.
