Uroš Matić

Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, specializing in alternative data alpha since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, where research focused on revenue-maximizing auctions and was accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro held the position of Co-President at the Smith Investment Fund, overseeing systematic strategy research from September 2018 to December 2021. Additional roles include two internships at Facebook, where involvement included assistant question answering and civic integrity, as well as a quantitative research internship at Millennium Management LLC focused on VIX and options strategy research. Uro L. holds a degree from the University of Maryland, attended from 2018 to 2022, and graduated from Montgomery Blair High School’s Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program between 2014 and 2018.
