Katie Laas

Katie Laas has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Katie co-founded Vega Cloud in 2018 and served as the Director of Marketing and Advisor. In 2021, they worked as the Head of Marketing at Doorsey. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Sr. Advisor and Corporate Liaison at Napa Valley Film Festival. Prior to that, they held the role of Strategic Events at Amazon Web Services from 2012 to 2018. Katie was also a Senior Events Manager at Microsoft from 2011 to 2018. In 2008, Katie was the President and Freelance Consultant at Strategic Events & Experiences, LLC. Katie also worked at Salesforce.com as a Senior Event Producer and at Workday as a Senior Customer Reference Manager & Evangelist. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Marketing Manager at Charles Schwab and a Direct Response Program Manager at PeopleSoft.

Katie Laas has obtained a Bachelor's degree in French from Texas A&M University. Additionally, they hold a certification as a SCRUM Master Certified from Danube which was obtained in April 2009.
