Suraj Kumar

Suraj Kumar is a skilled technology professional with a strong background in software development and engineering. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Vegapay since January 2023, Suraj has spearheaded the development of the Forex Multicurrency Card technology stack. Previously, Suraj worked as a Software Developer at Loop Health from October 2020 to January 2023, where the backend development of the top-up insurance portal was led. Suraj's experience also includes a Data Science Internship at HealthRx (Bajaj Finserv Health Limited), where an automated tool for encrypting PII data using Python was developed, and an ML Internship at SiCureMi Healthcare Technologies Pvt. Ltd., involving the creation of a food recognition app that tracks daily calorie intake. Suraj holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology, completed in 2020.
