Raymond de Jong

Raymond de Jong is an accomplished human resources professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles, including the position of Head of HR at Veiligheidsregio Rotterdam-Rijnmond since May 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Director of HR and Organization at the Rijksmuseum from January 2015 to April 2025, where responsibilities involved protecting lives, cultural heritage, and business processes. Raymond has also held significant positions within the International Council of Museums as Secretary of the International Committee of Museum Security, and in the Nationale Politie as Deputy Head of the Regieteam. A strong educational background includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Arbeids- en Organisatiepsychologie from Open Universiteit, complemented by studies at Nyenrode Business University and the Nederlandse Politie Academie.
