Eva Bak

Eva Bak has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Eva is currently the Head of People North America at VEJA, a position they have held since December 2023. Prior to this, they founded Higher Culture in January 2023 and was a Founding Member at Safe Space from May 2023. Eva has also worked as the Director of People at Apparis from November 2021 to December 2022 and as the Director of Human Resources at cups from December 2019 to November 2021. Before that, they held multiple roles at Bak USA, including Vice President of People from January 2016 to December 2018 and Director of Human Resources & Administration from January 2015 to January 2016. Additionally, Eva worked at New York University as a Teaching Assistant from September 2014 to January 2015 and as a Mental Health Therapist at the New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) from January 2014 to January 2015. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director/People Operations Lead at the Dania Foundation from June 2010 to January 2011 and as a Mental Health Psychotherapist at Samaritan Counseling, Guidance, Consulting from January 2010 to June 2010.

Eva Bak has a diverse education history. Eva obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a specialization in Health Policy & Management from New York University in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Counseling Psychology at Chatham University from 2007 to 2009. In 2002, Eva earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion at the University of Cambridge, and studied Tibetan Studies: Philosophy, Culture and Language at Emory University. In 2015, Eva obtained a certification in Strategic Human Resources Leadership from eCornell.
