Senior Technical Artist - Character at Vela Games

Élodie Thomas has eight years of professional experience. Élodie began their career in 2012 as an Internship at the CNRS, where they worked on Characterization of parental attention post-hatching in the Tufted Duck, Aythya fuligula. In 2013, they interned at Kyoto University, where they worked on Host-parasite relationship in Japanese Macaque. In 2015, they were a Photographer Intern at Gouiran Beauté, Grossiste en produits de coiffure et esthétique. In 2016, they were a 3D Animator Intern at 2d3D Animation and a 3D Rigger at Brown Bag Films. In 2018, they were a 3D Rigger at Giant Animation and a Cinematic Animator at UBISOFT Montpellier. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Technical Artist - Character, Technical Artist - Character, and Animation & Rigging Specialist at Vela Games.

Élodie Thomas obtained their Bachelor degree in Health and Chemistry, specializing in Ecology from ICES - Institut catholique de Vendée in 2011. Élodie then went on to pursue their Master's degree 1 (Master 1) in Ethology from Université de Rennes I in 2012. The following year, they obtained their Master's degree 2 (Master 2) in Behavioral Ecology, Evolution et Biodiversity (Ecologie comportementale, Evolution et Biodiversité) from Université de Tours. In 2015, they were awarded the Titre "Infographiste 3D" de niveau III. Finally, Élodie Thomas completed their education in 2016, obtaining a degree in Infographiste 3D from Objectif 3D, with a field of study in Animation / Rigging / Modelisation. Additionally, they obtained a BAFA in 2008.
