Andreas Witzig

Andreas Witzig is a Professor and Head of the Institute of Computational Physics (ICP) at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences since January 2016. Witzig serves as a board member and Managing Director at Vela Solaris while also being a member of Gebäudesimulation Schweiz since March 2021. Previous roles include scientific research staff at SPF Institut für Solartechnik and product manager for optoelectronics at Synopsys, as well as project manager at ISE Integrated Systems Engineering. Witzig's academic background includes a PhD and a diploma in Optoelectronics from ETH Zürich, supplemented by a diploma in Technology Entrepreneur from the University of St.Gallen.
