Saqib Sabah is a Senior Regional Director at Oracle Corporation, covering South Asia Growing Economies (SAGE), Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Saqib is a senior business executive with over 25 years of impactful leadership including his experience of a Co-Founder of AI Start Up Company in Malaysia and Singapore.

He has worked in leading multinational technology companies and has led global teams to drive growth in Malaysia, Thailand, UK & Pakistan. His last role before joining Oracle was Managing Director SAP Malaysia and COO Pakistan, where he worked for over 4 years to drive hypergrowth with SAP Cloud Solutions, improve predictability, linearity & profitability of business. He successfully rolled out Go-to-Market by making structural changes in both the market units.

Saqib worked with Teradata for over one and a half decade where he led growth-oriented assignments in UK, Thailand, Malaysia & Pakistan. Under his leadership role of Global Account Director in Teradata UK & Thailand, he managed top tier global customers and turned around the declining business to a committed growth business across 3 continents. His contributions in Malaysia as Managing Director for Teradata was to flip the least operational efficient country in South East Asia to be amongst the most operational efficient countries in terms of profitability, product subscription revenue and resource structuring in 3 years. During his assignment in Pakistan in Teradata, as Sales Director he opened up new markets and expanded the existing business relationship within his portfolio and was able to maintain a consistent highest revenue contribution to the local business.

Saqib is passionate about lifting the lowest segment of the society financially and is well versed with Digital Payments, Financial Modelling with a deeper study of India and China as successful countries in leap-frogging the Pay-Tech. He also enjoys doing business valuations and during his start-up he was able to develop the conceptual model for AI in Capital Markets tailored for small retail segments and Agricultural use cases with impact in minimizing inflation by managing supply curves more accurately.
