Andrea Granados

Andrea Granados has a long history of work experience in the design and creative industry. In 2021, they began their role as Director CX at Velaro. From 2011 to 2021, they worked at Jakks Pacific as Sr. Creative Director, where they lead the creative team in the conceptualization and design of packaging, trade show displays, retail, merchandising and marketing collateral both in print and digital media. From 2006 to 2011, they were Creative Director and Lead Designer at The Petting Zoo Inc., where they collaborated with stakeholders to generate the strategic vision for the company's product lines. From 2004 to 2006, they worked at Lanard Toys Inc. as Product Designer & Packaging Designer, where they were responsible for creating concepts, sketches, branding elements such as logos, patterns, and mock-ups. In 2004, they were Assistant Exhibit Specialist at AG. Communication Exhibit Center- Purdue University, where they collaborated in the development of an interactive and educational children's exhibit of new technological advances in the soybean field for Indiana State Museum. From 2002 to 2004, they were a Graduate Instructor at Purdue University, where they instructed and taught first year design students the fundamentals of design, concepts and processes. In 2002, they worked at Sky Publicidad. Bogotá, Colombia as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, where they created logos, branding, catalogs, print ads for magazines, brochures, signage and banners.

Andrea Granados earned a Master's of Arts in Industrial Design from Purdue University and a Diseñadora Industrial in Diseño Industrial from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
