Carla Areias

Carla Areias serves as the Finance Director for Portugal at Veld Capital since October 2022, with prior experience as Finance Director at AnaCap Financial Partners from January 2020 to September 2022 and at Whitestar Asset Solutions from January 2006 to December 2019. At Whitestar Asset Solutions, Carla also held the position of Head of Accounting Department. Carla's career began as an Accountant and Partner at Cálculo Mais - Assessoria em Contabilidade e Fiscalidade, Lda from August 1999 to January 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Accounting from INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education, a Graduation in Taxation from ISCAL-Lisbon Accounting and Business School, and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Instituto Militar Pupilos do Exército. Carla also completed the Abitur at Escola Alemã de Lisboa / Deutsche Schule Lissabon.
