Jainik Shah

Jainik Shah is an experienced investment professional specializing in opportunistic credit investments at Veld Capital since July 2023. Prior to this role, Jainik served as Vice President at International Asset Reconstruction Company from August 2018 to July 2022, focusing on distressed debt and non-performing loan investments for Blackstone’s platform in India. Jainik's career also includes a position as Senior Analyst in the Structured Credit and Distressed Products Group at Deutsche Bank from November 2015 to July 2018, and as an Analyst at Fractal Analytics, where expertise in various data analysis and visualization tools was developed. Early career experiences include roles at FinIQ Consulting as an intern, at IIT Bombay as an internship coordinator, and as a summer trainee at OCTAMEC Engineering Limited. Jainik holds a Master's in Finance from London Business School and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, along with pursuing credentials from the CFA Institute.
