Jennifer Snead

Jennifer Snead has a diverse work experience in the field of Translational Discovery Biology. Jennifer currently holds the position of Director at Velia since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Inception Therapeutics, where they held various roles including Director from October 2021 to March 2022, Associate Director from January 2020 to October 2021, Assistant Director from August 2019 to January 2020, and Senior Scientist from April 2019 to August 2019. Before joining Inception Therapeutics, Jennifer worked at GNF as Investigator II from May 2015 to March 2019 and Research Investigator I from June 2013 to May 2015. Jennifer also worked at GNF from 2009 to 2013, first as an Institute Fellow and then as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Jennifer'searlier work experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Oregon Health & Science University from 2006 to 2009 and Doctoral Research at the University of California, San Francisco from 1999 to 2006.

Jennifer Snead pursued their education starting in 1995 at the University of Delaware, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1999. Jennifer then went on to the University of California, San Francisco from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
