Evan Crean

Evan Crean has had a varied and extensive career in the media and technology industries. Evan began their professional career in 2004 at Emerson College, where they held the roles of Lab Roaming Technician, Student Manager, Helpdesk Roaming Technician, and Helpdesk Technician. In 2008, they moved to Bentley University, where they served as an Application Support Specialist. From 2009-2016, they worked at multiple companies, including Starpulse.com, Intronis, and Reel Recon, in roles such as Contributing Writer, Content Marketing Specialist, Software Support Engineer II/III, and Editor in Chief. In 2016, they joined Velir, where they served as Content Manager, Senior Copywriter, and Analytics and Content Strategist. Evan also worked as a Contributing Writer/Editor at NewEnglandFilm.com and as a Co-Host at Spoilerpiece Theatre. In 2017, they joined The Independent as a Contributing Writer/Editor.

Evan Crean obtained their High School Diploma from Canterbury School in 2004. Evan then attended Emerson College from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism with a focus on Online Journalism and Political Science. In 2013, they completed their Master of Science in Advertising from Boston University. Finally, in 2019, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Data Analysis Using Excel from Coursera.
