Ellyn Serra, APM, RHIT, CHDS, AHDI-F

Ellyn Serra, APM, RHIT, CHDS, AHDI-F has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare industry since 2005. Ellyn began their career as US Audit and QA Manager at SPi Global in 2005. In 2011, they took on the role of Operations Manager at q.i.d. Transcription, Inc. In 2013, they began working at ModuleMD as Manager - Client Services, where they provided leadership in and oversaw the day-to-day interaction between support analysts and clients to ensure prompt resolution of reported issues, and was responsible for product management of enhancement and partner integrations, account management, and business development. Ellyn also worked as an Extern at MPRO in 2013, attending meetings with client service representatives and healthcare providers to assist with Meaningful Use Stage 1 reporting requirements and attestation through MCEITA grants, attending CMS webinars regarding Stage 1 and Stage 2, and creating Stage 2 action plans as a guide for healthcare providers. In 2018, they took on the role of IT Analyst, Project Manager at Novello Physicians Organization. In 2021, they began working at Advanced Health Technology Solutions, LLC as Integrations and Onboarding. Currently, they are Vice President, Development and Services at VelloHealth.

Ellyn Serra holds an Associate of Applied Science from Baker College of Flint in Health Information Technology, which they obtained in 2013. Ellyn also holds an Associate of Applied Science from Baker College in Medical Transcription/Transcriptionist. In 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Baker College. Ellyn also holds certifications from SSD Global Solutions, Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), and AHIMA, including PRINCE2 Agile\u00ae Project Management, Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist, and Registered Health Information Technician, respectively.
