Ramanujam R. is the Assistant Director of the Centre for Innovative Manufacturing Research at Vellore Institute of Technology. Ramanujam has also served as an Assistant Professor (Senior) at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and as a Lecturer at Vel Tech HighTech Dr.Rangarajan Dr.Sakunthala Engineering College and Pallavan College of Engineering.

Ramanujam R. has a Ph.D. in Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering from Anna University, a Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering.
