Brandon McCracken

Brandon McCracken is an experienced operations and facilities management professional with a strong background in the metal additive manufacturing industry. As Director of Operations/Facilities at Velo3D since December 2017, Brandon has spearheaded the planning, management, and construction of facilities, significantly expanding operational capabilities with new buildings totaling 180,000 square feet and supporting scalable manufacturing systems. Previously, as Facilities Manager at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, Brandon oversaw site management across multiple locations, handling vendor negotiations and maintenance activities. Earlier roles include Lead Systems Control Engineer at Vantage Data Centers, where collaboration on new construction projects was key, and Facilities Technician Level 4 at Western Digital, focusing on automation in clean room environments. Brandon's career also includes foundational experiences as an engineer with Union Pacific Railroad and as a Hazmat Specialist and volunteer firefighter. Brandon's educational background includes training from the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium and studies at Mission College.
