Vaibhav Khane

Vaibhav Khane has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Vaibhav currently serves as the Director of Process Engineering at Velo3D since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Manager at Velo3D from August 2021 to June 2022. Before joining Velo3D, Khane worked at Intel Corporation as an Integration and Product Engineer from November 2019 to August 2021. Vaibhav also served as a Process TD Module & Integration Yield Engineer at Intel Corporation from February 2014 to November 2019. Khane's previous experience includes roles such as ASTRO Candidate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Graduate Research Assistant at Missouri S&T, Summer Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Student participant and Faculty-student research team member at Idaho National Laboratory. Vaibhav started their career as a Main Plant Operation Engineer at NPCIL and later worked as a Research Assistant at IIT Bombay. Khane began their professional journey as a Trainee Engineer at SKF.

Vaibhav Khane holds a PhD and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, obtained between the years 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they also completed a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the same university in the years 2007 to 2009. Vaibhav'sundergraduate education was in Mechanical Engineering, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Walchand College of Engineering in 2002. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Agile Project Management with Jira Cloud, and Six Sigma Foundations.
