Farid (Freddy) Zainal is currently the Head of Risk Management at Velocity Clearing, LLC. Prior to this, Farid worked at Apex Clearing Corporation where Farid (Freddy) held various roles including Branch Manager and Head of Prime Brokerage Consulting. Farid (Freddy) also has experience as the Director of Prime Brokerage Services at Wells Fargo Prime Services and as a Partner at Merlin Securities. Farid began their career with the US Navy as a Navy Seabee. Farid (Freddy) holds a BS in Business from Purdue University. Farid has a wealth of experience in the financial industry, specifically in risk management, prime brokerage consulting, and product development.
