Shantanu Datta

Shantanu Datta has a range of work experience in various industries and roles. Shantanu began their career as the Head of Department for Innovations at Vaayu'14, where they were responsible for marketing and public relations activities and led a team of 11 people. Shantanu then worked as a Business Development Intern at Happy2Refer and as a Business Content Writer at Conquerem - Bidding Platform for Emerging Market ambitions!. In 2017, Shantanu interned as a Summer Intern at YourNest Angel Fund, where they analyzed the business models of startups and evaluated operating plans for potential funding. Shantanu then joined Deloitte India as an Associate Solution Advisor before transitioning to the role of Solution Advisor, where they valued late-stage venture-backed startups, built financial models, and analyzed mergers and acquisitions. Currently, Shantanu works at Velocity as part of the Product and Strategy team. In this role, they spearheaded the launch of the Velocity Corporate Cards, monitored key business KPIs, and led user research efforts to implement tailored product features.

Shantanu Datta completed their education in a chronological order. Shantanu started their education history in 2011 at Delhi Public School Ruby Park, where they obtained their High School degree. Later, from 2013 to 2016, they attended SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance, General. Following that, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Shantanu Datta obtained a certification, clearing the CFA Level 3 Examination in June 2019, although the institution from which they received the certification is unknown.
