Joe Gowdridge

Joe Gowdridge is an experienced creative professional currently serving as Head of Writing at Velocity Partners since June 2023. Prior to this role, Joe was Creative Lead at Wunderman Thompson from November 2018 to May 2023, where oversight of all written content for the Microsoft account was a key responsibility. Joe has a strong background in copywriting, having worked as a Senior Copywriter at both Wunderman Thompson and Wunderman, and has developed B2B and B2C content for notable clients including Microsoft and Bose Automotive. Earlier experiences include academic leadership roles at Study Group, where Joe managed curriculum development and compliance with educational standards, and teaching positions at Tti School of English and Oxford House College. Joe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology and Development Studies from the University of Sussex and a DELTA from UCL.
