Maura Farrell

Maura Farrell is an emerging professional in the field of risk management and insurance, currently serving as an Underwriter Trainee at Velocity Risk since May 2023. Previously, Maura worked as an Associate Underwriter on the Private Client Team at Burns & Wilcox from September 2022 to May 2023. Prior experience includes an internship at WSIA, where Maura collaborated with the large commercial property team, and an Enterprise Risk Management internship at Chubb, where tasks included reviewing risk reports and collaborating with international teams. Additionally, Maura has experience in customer service as a server at The Couch Tomato Bistro and as a lifeguard at Warrington Township, along with early work in cake decoration at Nothing Bundt Cakes. Maura holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance from Saint Joseph's University.
