Idan Kinory has been in the tech industry since 2008. Idan began their career as an IDF Officer in the Israel Defense Forces. In 2017, they became a Backend Developer at Nokia, where they designed and developed a data analysis product as part of the Nokia CloudBand software department. Idan was also a contributor to the OpenStack open source community via the Vitrage project. In 2019, they became a R&D Team Lead at Spot.io, and also worked as a Backend Developer. Spot.io was acquired by NetApp in 2020, and Idan became a R&D Team Lead at NetApp Public Cloud Services. In 2021, Idan joined Velocity as an Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer.
Idan Kinory attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication System Engineering.
