Eranda Ekanayake

Eranda Ekanayake has over 6 years of work experience in the software development field. In 2014, they began their career as a Software Developer-Intern at the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB). In 2015, they moved to Innodata Inc. as a Software Developer-Automation. In 2017, they joined tekgeeks (Pvt) Ltd. as a Senior Software Developer. In 2019, they moved to Omobio (Pvt) Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2021, they joined Velou as an Associate Tech Lead and Senior Software Engineer. Theirresponsibilities included requirements analysis, architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support for web-based applications and services. Eranda also designed multitenancy architecture for applications, conducted code reviews and technical discussions, developed REST APIs and swagger documentation (Nodejs), and conducted research on machine learning concepts for e-commerce web applications.

Eranda Ekanayake completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin from 2012 to 2016. During that time, they also obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the same institution. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Javascript basic, Python basic, Rest API from HackerRank, and Banking and Finance from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
