Marcelo Tellez Anderson

Marcelo Tellez Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries. Marcelo started their career at Amgen Inc. in 1995, where they held various roles in manufacturing, as a scientist, and later as a project manager until 2004. Marcelo then moved on to NCSRT as the Director of Applications before joining NC State University as the Assistant Director of Student Coordination and Industrial Relations from 2005 to 2010.

In 2010, Marcelo joined Biogen and progressed from Associate Director of Manufacturing Sciences to Director of Global Manufacturing Operations, and later served as Interim International Manufacturing Operations Head. Their significant accomplishments led him to their most recent roles as Vice President of Manufacturing, Technical Operations and CMC at Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and as a Board Member at TregTherapeutics Inc. since 2022.

Marcelo Tellez Anderson completed their Bachelor of Science in Biology from Union College (KY) from 1991 to 1996. Marcelo continued their education by pursuing a Masters in Global Innovation Management at North Carolina State University - College of Management from 2008 to 2009. In 2008, they also obtained their MBA in Business from the same institution. Additionally, in 2009, Marcelo received a Masters of Science in Business Administration from IAE FRANCE - Écoles Universitaires de Management. Their high school education was completed at Notre Dame High School.
