Uttara Kulkarni

Uttara Kulkarni is a Biocurator at Velsera since March 2022, with a robust background in biotechnology and extensive research experience across multiple organizations. Prior to Velsera, Uttara served as an Industrial PhD Student at Praj Industries from 2015 to March 2022, focusing on the development of antimicrobial production processes and scalability. Past roles include Junior Project Fellow at the National Chemical Laboratory, where responsibilities encompassed transcriptome analysis and molecular cloning, as well as a trainee position at Serum Institute of India Limited, specializing in vaccine production and quality control. Uttara's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biotechnology from Savitribai Phule Pune University, a Master’s degree in Marine Biotechnology from Annamalai University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Vidya Pratishthan's School of Biotechnology, University of Pune.
