Zelia Worman

Zelia Worman, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Researcher Engagement and Education at Velsera since January 2023, and has held the role of Program Manager at Seven Bridges from September 2021 to January 2023. Worman is also a member of the ISSOP consortium dedicated to standardizing space omics processing. Previous experience includes serving as a Scientific Program Manager at SAIC for the Translational Research Institute for Space Health and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Worman's academic background includes a PhD in Biodiversity, Genetics, and Evolution from the Faculty of Sciences of Porto's University as well as a degree in Biochemistry, Biology, and Chemistry from the Universidade do Porto. Worman's research expertise encompasses data analysis, program management, and genetic variation studies.
