Fotis Gatsios

Fotis Gatsios has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Fotis started their career in 1998 as a Field Engineer at Progress Solution S.A, where they worked until 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they served as a Field Engineer at Info Quest Technologies and then joined Marinopoulos Group as a Support Engineer.

In 2003, Fotis became a System Engineer for the Athens Olympic Games, responsible for the installation and administration of the domain controllers for the event's network. Subsequently, they joined Velti in 2004 as an IT Consultant, handling various tasks such as network administration, software installation, and market research for new equipment.

Afterwards, they transitioned to Calavros & Partners Law Firm in 2008, initially as an IT Manager and later as an External IT Consultant. Fotis managed IT operations and provided consultation until 2020.

In 2011, Fotis returned to Velti as a Senior System Engineer and then progressed to the role of Senior IT Manager in 2014. Finally, in 2018, they assumed the position of Head of Security, demonstrating their growth and expertise within the company.

Overall, Fotis Gatsios possesses a well-rounded background in IT, encompassing roles in fields such as engineering, management, consultancy, and security.

Fotis Gatsios began their education in 1992 at the Technical and Professional Faculty DELTA, where they pursued a Degree in the Direction of Automatism and Computers with a field of study in Computer Science. Fotis completed this degree in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, Fotis attended IEK DELTA, obtaining a Professional Training degree in computer technology. Fotis'sfield of study at IEK DELTA focused on computer technician and electronic office machinery.

In addition to their educational background, Fotis has obtained various certifications over the years. In 1998, they received an OEEK Certification from OEEK. In 1999, they obtained certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI. More recently, in 2017, they completed an online photography course and obtained a certificate from iphotographycourse. In 2018, they received certifications in cybersecurity and ethical hacking from edX and Udemy respectively. Finally, in 2020, they completed a course on social engineering and received a certificate from StationX.
