Christian Jakobsen

Christian Jakobsen is an accomplished Senior Manager in Global Energy & Climate at VELUX, where responsibilities encompass the management of global energy excellence programs, budget oversight, and stakeholder management, alongside ESG reporting and the Design for Zero program. Previously, Christian held positions at LM Wind Power as a Senior Technical Engineer and Program Manager for the Energy Program, as well as a Technical Engineer focusing on the Global Carbon Neutral Program. Christian's career began at Siemens Gamesa and included roles as Manager of Maintenance & Facility at Nilan A/S, a Warehouse Operative at Supergros A/S, and a Blacksmith at Jysk Lad & Hydraulik. Christian holds a B.Sc. in Technology Management and Marine Engineering with a specialization in oil, gas, and renewable energy from Fredericia College for Technical- and Marine Engineering, as well as earlier vocational education in metal fabrication.
