Juan Thurman

Juan Thurman is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as Co-founder and Managing General Partner at Semilla Climate Capital since July 2021. In addition, Thurman holds the position of Director at the SWAN Impact Network, which supports early-stage companies addressing societal challenges. Contributions also include roles as a Board Observer and Investor at Bodhi® and Accelerist, and as a member of the Board of Directors for VeMiDoc and DivInc. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Sales and Marketing at Retreaver and providing advisory and investment support to Homads. With an MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Texas McCombs School of Business and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, Juan Thurman combines technical expertise with a commitment to social impact and innovative business solutions.
