Kate Swick

Kate Swick has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Kate currently serves as the Director of Corporate Events at Vena Solutions since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Supply Chain Canada as the Manager of National Events from 2017 to 2022. Kate also held the position of Manager of Event Operations at the Institute of Corporate Directors from 2015 to 2017. In 2014, they were the Group Head of Operations at Accucore Group, where they oversaw event logistics and planning. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at World Trade Group as an Event Manager and later as the Operations Training Coordinator for the Americas. Kate briefly worked as a Training Consultant in 2011 and also served as a Production Coordinator for TNR Productions Inc. in the same year. Kate'searly career includes roles as a Marketing Outreach Manager at Rubidge Retirement Residence in 2010, a Retail Management Keyholder at Jacob from 2008 to 2010, and a Diet Consultant at Herbal Magic in 2008.

Kate Swick completed their education at Fleming College, where they obtained a diploma in Travel and Tourism from 2008 to 2010. Kate then pursued a post-graduate diploma in Event Management from 2010 to 2011. Kate also holds additional certifications, including Value Match Sales Certified and Security Awareness. Kate is currently enrolled in the VenaLXO program and The Working Mind Manager Program, both of which will be obtained in 2023.
