Rob Woodward

Rob Woodward has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Rob started their career as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in 2012, where they worked until 2015. Rob then joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP as a Managing Associate from 2015 to 2017 and later became a Senior Associate until 2018. During their time at Orrick, they focused on cross-border transactions and represented startups and venture capital firms. In 2018, Rob joined Silicon Legal Strategy as an Associate, where they advised entrepreneurs and venture capitalists on startup funding matters. In 2019, they joined Venafi, first as a Corporate Counsel and later became the Head of Legal - Corporate. At Venafi, they handled various legal needs, including contracts, employment, IP, litigation, and M&A.

Rob Woodward attended Stanford Law School from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Japanese from Vassar College from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, Rob also obtained a Certificate in Japanese Studies from Ritsumeikan University during their studies.
