Sanya Valsan

Sanya Valsan has a diverse work experience spanning various software engineering roles. Most recently, Sanya worked at Venafi as a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead, where they were responsible for designing and developing software for a cloud-based security product. They also worked on re-architecting certificate ingestion and built Federated GraphQL APIs to improve UI performance.

Prior to Venafi, Sanya worked at WhiteHat DAST by Synopsys, where they served as an Engineering Team Lead. In this role, they led a team of engineers in designing and implementing APIs for Salesforce CPQ integration, resulting in increased revenue. Sanya also played a key role in migrating the company's web application to a single page application using React/Redux and contributed to the development of a reusable UI library.

Before joining WhiteHat, Sanya worked at TIBCO LogLogic as a Member of Technical Staff, where they created a Query Validation framework and wrote automation scripts for integrating different products. They also gained experience as an Intern in software development roles at San Jose State University Research Foundation and VMware.

Early in their career, Sanya worked as a Junior Software Engineer at Zensar Technologies - Cisco Division, where they contributed to building platform services and developed wiki pages for project resources.

Sanya Valsan received a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University from 2007 to 2011. Sanya then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from San Jose State University, which they completed from 2012 to 2014.
