Bira De Lima

Bira De Lima has a long and varied professional career, beginning in 1993 when they started as IT Strategy and Planning Manager at Souza Cruz. In 1997 they joined British American Tobacco as Group Head of Strategic Business Systems, and held various positions there until 2007. In 2008 they took a sabbatical to attend INSEAD, and then in 2010 they became an Independent Business Consultant. From 2017 to 2020 they worked as Chief Operating Officer at ITC Secure Networking and Veritas Grupo, as well as Socio Diretor at WWW.VeritasGrupo.com.br. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as Chief Operating Officer at Venari Security.

Bira De Lima began their educational journey in 1979, when they attended FURB - Fundacao Universitaria de Blumenau to study Computer Science. In 2000, they attended Harvard Business School for Executive Education. Following this, they attended the University of Virginia Darden School of Business for the Business Executive Program and Indiana University Bloomington for IT Executive Education. Finally, between 2008 and 2010, they attended INSEAD to study Organisational Psychology, with a focus on Human Behaviour and Change.
