Bethan Waller

Bethan Waller has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Bethan began their career as a Work Placement at Barclays in 2011, where they gained insight into the day-to-day operations of a bank branch. In 2014, they worked as a Waitress at The Stables at Cross Butts, demonstrating excellent customer service skills in a busy restaurant setting.

Bethan then transitioned to international work experience, first as an English Language Assistant at Ministère chargé de l'Éducation nationale, where they assisted teachers and helped students improve their English language skills. Bethan then joined Challenges Worldwide in 2017 as a Business Support Associate, providing consulting services to a social enterprise in Rwanda and conducting market analysis.

In 2018, Bethan took on a role as a Residential Programme Coordinator at The Challenge, where they managed the relationship between NCS The Challenge and a residential accommodation site. Bethan ensured effective communication and conducted risk assessments during their temporary contract.

Later in 2018, Bethan joined Venator Materials Plc as an Assistant Accountant, where they were responsible for various financial tasks under US GAAP and UK GAAP. Bethan prepared statutory accounts, reconciled cash flows and balance sheets, and resolved discrepancies. Bethan then transitioned to the role of Source to Pay Specialist, handling accounts payable activities for multiple markets and ensuring compliance with internal control frameworks.

Throughout their work experience, Bethan has showcased their ability to adapt to different environments, communicate effectively, handle financial tasks, and take on leadership responsibilities.

Bethan Waller attended Conyers School from 2006 to 2013, where they completed their high school education. After that, they enrolled at Northumbria University from 2013 to 2017, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in International Business Management with French. Bethan's education history also includes a Certificate in Business Accounting, which they obtained from CIMA in December 2021.
